Carey was born in Lubbock, raised in Wolfforth. He graduated from Texas Tech in 2007. Carey spent 12 years working in the chemical industry after graduation. He began buying and remodeling rental property in Lubbock while working in chemicals. Tyson Reed and Carey became partners in 2017. Carey’s hobbies include Golf, traveling with his wife Kellyn, hunting, BBQ for friends and family! When Carey isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his two favorite dogs, Rex and Ted!
Carey Taylor
Kelsey was born and raised in West Texas. He attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a degree in Exercise Sports Science. He was a tennis coach and science teacher for several years before discovering his love for custom home building. Kelsey has worked on and off in construction and remodeling for over 10 years. His work ethic and dedication to Apex are second to none as he provides on the job support to customers throughout the custom home building process. He and his wife, Sadie, live in Lubbock and have two children, Lottie and Bo.

Tracye is married with two children, and they reside in Lubbock, Texas. Tracye has experience in custom building, remodeling, and interior design work. Tracye loves to help people create an environment appealing to the eye, but most importantly, a place to call home! From start to finish, Tracye will make the building process pleasant and enjoyable for the client.

Jennifer was born in Illinois and raised in Indiana. She moved to Texas in 2007 and since then she’s called it home! The people here are genuine, sincere and her kind of people. She is married to Brandon, who has served as a Lubbock firefighter for 15 years and they have 4 very active and spontaneous children (Dylan, Jade, Madison & Landon.) Quinn, their German Shepherd, is the princess of their house. Jennifer is passionate about serving people and always wanting to be sure she’s executing every opportunity with excellence. She has a background in marketing. Jennifer is confident in being able to find the right home for each of her clients in the Lubbock market. Jennifer is very organized and thorough. She loves to help clients during the home building process.

Tyson was born and raised in a small west Texas town. He and his wife, Summer are the proud parents of identical twin girls, Parkyr and Prestyn, and boy, Jaxson. Tyson graduated with an economics degree from Texas Tech University, and it was shortly thereafter when he discovered his passion for construction, real estate, and entrepreneurship. He contributes his success to his late father Ricky Reed, who brough him up in a hardworking Christian home. Tyson is actively involved in the West Texas Home Builders Association where he serves on the Board of Directors and many committees. He is currently installed as the Association President for 2024. Tyson and Summer are members of Victory Life Church where they love to serve others and the community.
